Trump continues to marvel over Puerto Rico: 'This is an island surrounded by water. Big water. Ocean water.'


Have you ever really thought about the ocean? President Trump has and he's reached some conclusions: It's big. Really big.
Trump's latest observation about the "big water" around Puerto Rico came Friday:
Earlier in the week, Trump explained that Puerto Rico "is an island sitting in the middle of an ocean. It's a big ocean. It's a very big ocean."

"This is a thing called the Atlantic Ocean," Trump said on Tuesday, still wowed. "This is tough stuff."
While the message gets a little lost in Trump's excitement, the president's point stands: "U.S. officials say that Puerto Rico faces a longer road to recovery than any other part of the U.S. hit by a hurricane, partly because the island needs to ship and fly in equipment and personnel that can simply be trucked in to states like Florida and Texas," The Wall Street Journal writes.
