CNN's Brooke Baldwin denounces Samantha Bee's Ivanka Trump comment in stern monologue
Full Frontal host Samantha Bee ruffled plenty of feathers after she called Ivanka Trump a "feckless c--t" during the Wednesday night episode of her TBS show.
And it wasn't just people who are fans of Ivanka's work in her role as senior White House adviser. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders criticized the "vile and vicious" comment, and said that "the collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling." Many prominent media outlets were quick to denounce Bee's ill-advised insult, however, including media figures normally quite critical of President Trump and his family.
"Whether you agree with the president's policies or not, calling a senior advisor inside the United States government or anyone for that matter the C-word is ... outrageous, it is unacceptable, and should be called out," said CNN's Brooke Baldwin.

Baldwin agreed with critics who argued that Bee's comment illustrated a double standard in which some "jokes" are excused and others are thoroughly reprimanded. The CNN host said that Bee's language makes her "part of the problem," and said that she should have made her point differently given her standing as a role model to women and girls.
