ABC is reportedly considering reviving Roseanne — starring Darlene

Roseanne might be getting a third shot at primetime TV.
ABC pulled the plug on its hit sitcom Roseanne after its star, Roseanne Barr, tweeted a particularly hateful insult about former Obama White House adviser Valerie Jarrett earlier this week. The network is now considering rebranding the show to star Darlene (Sara Gilbert) instead, as a way to salvage the jobs of the cast and crew and capitalize on the show's high ratings, reports TMZ.
Barr's TV husband, John Goodman, is "very interested" in moving past the scandal, says TMZ. Gilbert has reportedly been in "preliminary" talks with costars and ABC to figure out how to keep the sitcom alive even without its titular actress, CNN reporter Brian Stelter confirmed.
