With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Ohio's 12th congressional district is too close to call.
Republican Troy Balderson has 101,566 votes, and Democrat Danny O'Connor has 99,800. Green Party candidate Joe Manchik is a distant third, with 1,127 votes. MSNBC's Steve Kornacki reports that 3,435 provisional ballots were cast, but the Ohio secretary of state's website says provisional ballots aren't touched until at least 10 days after an election.
Republicans spent millions on the race, with President Trump holding a rally there last week in support of Balderson, and the last time a Democrat won the district was in the 1980s. Regardless of who wins, the two candidates will face off again in the regular election in November.
