Beyoncé gives a hilariously last-minute endorsement of Beto O'Rourke
With less than three hours to go until the majority of the polls in Texas close, Beyoncé slipped in a very, very last-minute endorsement of Rep. Beto O'Rourke, the Democrat challenging GOP Sen. Ted Cruz for his seat. "We can't voice our frustrations and complain about what's wrong without voting and exercising our power to make it right," she wrote in her Instagram post, even though more than 4.5 million people have already cast early voting ballots in the Lone Star State.

"This would normally be a massive boost to a candidate in Texas," wrote The Texas Tribune's political editor, Aman Batheja, on Twitter, adding: "Genuinely curious: Are there registered voters whose behavior will be influenced by such a late endorsement?"
Many other celebrities offered more timely endorsements of O'Rourke, including LeBron James, Jim Carrey, and Eva Longoria. But better, uh, late than never?
