Trump brags he won 'perhaps the greatest election of all time'

President Trump is once again lashing out at impeachment talk, using his victory in the 2016 election as an argument against it.
Trump said on Twitter Friday that he doesn't understand how Democrats could impeach someone who "won perhaps the greatest election of all time," who did "nothing wrong," had "the most successful first two years of any president," and is the most popular Republican president ever.
He then cited a number that appears to be taken from an August poll showing him with approval from 93 percent of self-identified "strong Republicans," although his approval rating was lower among Republicans who identify with the party less strongly: 72 percent, The Washington Post reports. He was more popular than former President Ronald Reagan, but only among the self-described strong Republicans.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said earlier this week that it may be possible to indict a sitting president, and didn't rule out impeaching Trump after Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report comes out. Freshman Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib (Mich.) declared on her first day in Congress, "we're going to impeach the motherf---er."
