The judge in the Roger Stone case would very much like him to stop doing so many radio and TV interviews.

Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who is considering issuing a gag order, told Stone in court Friday that he should avoid acting like he's currently on "a book tour" and shouldn't be making his case "on the talk show circuit," CNN reports. “This is a criminal proceeding and not a public relations campaign,” she reminded him.

Stone, who was a longtime GOP operative and adviser to President Trump, has been all over the radio and on television in the days since he was arrested by the FBI on seven counts, including making false statements and witness tampering. He has been on Alex Jones' InfoWars two times in the past week, with the first interview coming literally right after being released on a $250,000 bond. Stone has also made appearances on ABC, CNN, Fox News, and elsewhere, in each interview maintaining his innocence and at one point accusing the FBI of utilizing "Gestapo tactics," per Mediaite. He certainly does seem to be enjoying the spotlight, even saying immediately after his arrest that "the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about."
