Here's the $35,000 check Michael Cohen says Trump gave him as hush money reimbursement while in office

A copy of the check Michael Cohen claims President Trump gave him as reimbursement for the Stormy Daniels hush-money payment while in office has been released.
Per CNN, the check Cohen will show Congress on Wednesday is for $35,000 and appears to have been signed by Trump while he was on office on August 1, 2017. Cohen says it came from Trump's personal bank account. There is no indication on the check itself what it is payment for.
Cohen alleges, however, this was part of his reimbursement for illegally paying $130,000 to Daniels, the adult film star who claims she had an affair with Trump. According to his opening statement, Cohen will say he made this payment using his home equity line of credit and that this check was "one of 11 installments that was paid throughout the year" reimbursing him that Trump promised to deliver during an Oval Office meeting. Trump claimed in April 2018 he did not know that Cohen paid Daniels.

This reportedly won't be the only check Cohen shows Congress. The Wall Street Journal reports he will also bring a copy of a second check he says was another reimbursement installment, this one from March 2017. It was reportedly signed by Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg and Donald Trump Jr.
