Backstreet Boys celebrate 20th anniversary of 'I Want It That Way' by releasing 'reimagined' version

It was a TRL staple and the soundtrack to many a high school dance, and to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Backstreet Boys have released a "reimagined" version of their hit "I Want It That Way."
The song appeared on the album Millennium, which was released in May 1999. The group shared a more laid-back, acoustic version of the tune on YouTube Thursday night, accompanied by a message using song lyrics to thank fans for their support.
"Each and every one of you have been the perfect fan and have made us feel larger than life," the band wrote. "Believe us when we say, no one else comes close to having as amazing fans as we do!"
