Trump directs his post-debate rage at CNN's Don Lemon: 'The dumbest man on television'
President Trump appears to be angrier at one of the moderators of last night's Democratic presidential debate than any of the actual candidates on stage.
In his post-debate tweets, Trump has yet to mention by name any of the Democrats who participated on Tuesday, although he offered general criticism of the "people I saw on stage last night." But there is someone Trump did mention by name: Don Lemon, the CNN host who moderated the debate and at one point asked the candidates, "What do you say to those Trump voters who prioritize the economy over the president's bigotry?"
This clearly set Trump off, as he tweeted angrily on Wednesday about the insinuation that he is racist while apparently citing his own quote that he's the "least racist person in the world." Trump also once again referred to Lemon as the "dumbest man on television" and went on to suggest he's "too dumb (stupid} to understand" objectivity.

Trump has in recent days been addressing the fallout of his tweets telling minority congresswomen to "go back" to where they came from, as well as those attacking Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and calling his Baltimore district a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess." The 2020 Democrats were quick to condemn Trump's recent remarks as racist during the debate as he argued to C-SPAN that "the word is so overused."
