You know that thing where you think of the perfect comeback, like, half an hour after you've already been insulted? Well, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney is living that whole experience rather ... publicly.
One of the biggest moments from the first night of the July Democratic debates came when Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren bulldozed Delaney's claim that the way to the White House was through "real solutions, not impossible promises."
"I don't understand why anybody goes to all the trouble of running for president of the United States just to talk about what we really can't do and shouldn't fight for," Warren shot back.
