R. Kelly's attorney says it's 'not right' that he's only allowed to see 1 of his girlfriends at a time in jail

R. Kelly's lawyer apparently thinks he should be released on bond because it's "not right" that just one of his girlfriends can visit him at a time in jail.
An attorney for the R&B star, who is currently being held in Chicago on sex crimes charges, has filed a motion requesting his release on bond, citing this visitation restriction as one reason, CNN reports.
"His visits are severely restricted; presently, he is only allowed one unrelated person to visit," attorney Steven Greenberg complains in the filing. "In other words, although he lives and has lived with two lady friends, only one of them is allowed to be on his visiting list, and after 90 days he is required to switch. No other friends or professional colleagues are allowed to visit. That is not right."

Greenberg in the filing also claims Kelly, who is accused of sexually abusing underage girls, is not "presently receiving adequate medical care" in jail, The Guardian reports.
This motion was filed in New York, where Kelly is facing additional charges including racketeering and sexual exploitation of a child, and so were the bond granted, a judge in Chicago would also have to agree to it, Fox News notes. Kelly has pleaded not guilty. Greenberg's notion will be argued Wednesday, the Chicago Tribune reports, also writing that Greenberg will push for Kelly to be "released on home confinement once the singer's girlfriends find a suitable place to live."
