Republicans are already up with new TV ads that go after a comment that President Obama himself made just yesterday: "I am not on the ballot this fall. Michelle's pretty happy about that. But make no mistake: These policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them."
Obama made the comments in an economic speech at Northwestern University on Thursday. Now two red-state incumbents, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, and Sen. Pat Roberts of Kansas, are linking Obama's speech to their respective Democratic and independent opponents, complete with video clips of Obama himself.
