1. Van Dijk set to win PFA award, Pogba named in TOTY

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk is set to be named the 2019 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Players’ Player of the Year. The Daily Mail says that the Dutch star has beaten Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling to the award. Meanwhile, the PFA Premier League Team of the Year has been announced and a surprise inclusion is Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. The French midfielder is the only player not from Manchester City or Liverpool to feature. Chelsea’s Eden Hazard misses out.
