Assange's cat spotted wearing a tie
A cat believed to belong to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been spotted in the window of the Ecuadorian embassy in London wearing a collar and tie. It had been seen wearing a plain collar earlier in the day, but returned to the window in its more formal attire when Swedish officials arrived to interview Assange over long-standing rape allegations.

'Fake wolf' uncovered in Chinese zoo
Officials at Dezhou zoo in Shandong province, China, have admitted that they placed a domesticated Siberian husky into their wolf enclosure. Questions were raised when the husky was caught on video with a leg injury, forcing zoo officials to admit that they had placed the dog in with the wolves to make it "more interesting for visitors". The dog has been temporarily removed from the exhibit to allow its leg to heal.
Man digs his own grave
An 89-year-old Canadian man raised eyebrows in his home town after gaining permission to dig his own grave. Jimmy Kickham, from Souris West, Prince Edward Island, told local media: "I love digging. Just one of those things that gets into your system. No matter what they wanted dug, I could do it." Kickham, who turns 90 tomorrow, says he is in good health and won't be needing the grave any time soon.
