As much as Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) wants to support his party in the general election, he's having a hard time getting behind its presumptive nominee. In an interview on MSNBC's Morning Joe that aired Thursday, Kasich tried to reconcile his longstanding loyalty to the Republican Party with his aversion to Donald Trump. "There's this thing called Republican loyalty," Kasich said. "I've been a Republican all my life, how do you think I feel about this? I'm the Republican governor of Ohio. It's difficult."

However, the one-time GOP presidential candidate said his mind could be changed. "We'll see where it ends up," Kasich said, noting that Trump is "going to have to change." "I'm not making any final decision yet, but at this point, I just can't do it."
