Special Counsel Robert Mueller has subpoenaed the Trump Organization for all records related to Russia, two people with knowledge of the matter told The New York Times.

The subpoena was delivered within the past few weeks, coming as Mueller appears to be widening his probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. Alan S. Futerfas, a lawyer representing the Trump Organization, told the Times the company is "fully cooperative with all investigations, including the special counsel, and is responding to their requests." This is the first known instance of Mueller ordering documents directly related to President Trump's businesses.
