KFC has a wild idea: meatless chicken. The fast food chain is experimenting with a vegetarian "chicken" option that's set to hit buckets later this year, per CBS News.
While the meatless alternative will preserve KFC's 11 herbs and spices, it's only premiering in the U.K. for now. KFC cooked up this combination to satisfy the U.K.'s new health guidelines, which challenge fast food restaurants to cut calories by 20 percent.
KFC U.S. has no plans to follow its counterparts across the pond, Foodbeast reports. For now, American vegetarians are stuck with the same old veggie burger at Burger King or White Castle.
