Yodellers reject blame for Covid outbreak
And other stories from the stranger side of life
The cast of a yodelling musical have denied responsibility for one of Europe’s worst Covid-19 outbreaks. After performances in Schwyz, Switzerland, were attended by 600 fans at the end of September, cases there have more than doubled to 1,238 since the middle of that month. But a cast member says safety measures were enforced and the suggestion the singers are to blame for the outbreak is “pure slander”.
