Trump's sexist comments are well-documented. Carly Fiorina, the only woman who sought the Republican nomination, Democratic rival Hillary Clinton and Fox News presenter Megyn Kelly have all been regular targets. Of Fiorina, he said: "Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?" He caused further outrage last year after saying Kelly had "blood coming out of everywhere" after she challenged him in a debate. He also retweeted: "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband, what makes her think she can satisfy America?"

It seems even his own daughter, Ivanka, isn't immune. "She does have a very nice figure," Trump once said in an interview. "I've said if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her." His PR later backtracked, saying the comment was meant to poke fun at his tendency to date younger women.
