Final LaFerrari raises $7m for charity
Hypercar sells for considerably more than original £1m asking price at Finali Mondiali in Daytona

Ferrari's 500th and final LaFerrari hypercar has gone under the hammer for $7m (£5.5m) at the Finali Mondiali event at the Daytona International Speedway, Florida, making it the most expensive car made in the 21st century to be sold at auction.
The sale was held by motoring specialists RM Sotherby's in collaboration with the National Italian American Foundation to raise funds for those affected by the earthquake that hit Italy in August.
The one-off hypercar features a bespoke livery and interior, with an Italian flag at the tip of the nose and white pin striping - a reminder that the car is "gift by Ferrari to its home country", says Ferrari. There is also a unique comparative plaque on the inside.

Finali Mondiali celebrates the company's year in motorsport and rich automotive history and attracts thousands of fans and owners to watch all-Ferrari races from the firm's Clienti programme.
Races range from the 458 Challenge series to demonstrations from F1 stars Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.
Earlier this year, Ferrari launched a convertible version of its LaFerrari hypercar at a private event for clients, marking the company's first drop-top flagship model since the F1-engined F50 from the 1990s.
