The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, i Sport and Daily Star report that Australia captain Tim Paine has had sleepless nights following Ben Stokes’s heroics in the Ashes.
Stokes led England to victory in the third Ashes Test at Headingley and his performance means the cricketing rivals are level in the series at 1-1 with two matches remaining.

The teams go head-to-head in the fourth Test starting at Old Trafford today and Aussie skipper Paine said ahead of the clash: “I haven’t lost a hell of a lot of sleep thinking about my captaincy, but I have lost a bit of sleep thinking how we’re going to get Stokes out.
“He’s a class player and he’s really confident at the moment. He’s going well. We’ve got some plans for him, but we’ve just got to execute them a bit better.”
Metro reports that England captain Joe Root has urged his team to “seize our chance” and make the most of the Ashes lifeline handed to them by the heroics of all-rounder Stokes.
