It was a dramatic night for Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham as they came back from two goals down to beat Olympiakos 4-2 and qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.
On Mourinho’s home debut the Daily Mirror reports that Spurs were given a “huge Euro scare” as Olympiakos took a two-goal lead inside 19 minutes thanks to goals from Youssef El-Arabi and Ruben Semedo.

However, the Daily Mail says “Harry was Jose’s hero” as captain Harry Kane fired two goals. Dele Alli and Serge Aurier also scored as Spurs sealed an epic comeback.
Kane was not the only hero at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night. Spurs levelled when a quick-thinking ball boy gave Aurier the ball for a quick throw-in. He sent Alli away down the line and the midfielder crossed for Kane to fire home.
The Daily Star says the “ball boy done good” and after the match Mourinho told BT Sport: “I love intelligent ball boys like I was. I was a brilliant ball boy as a kid. And this kid today was brilliant.
“He reads the game, understands the game and made an important assist. He’s not there just to look to the stands, lights or scarves. He’s living the game and playing it very well.”
