Noel Gallagher, not known for his restraint, has ventured into the world of politics, saying people who voted Remain in last year’s Brexit referendum should “f***ing get over it”.
In an interview with music website Noisey, the former Oasis guitarist said that people who were refusing to accept Brext need to “move on” and accept the result, calling those proposing a reversal “fascist”.

Although he says he was in favour of remaining in the EU, Gallagher said he didn’t take part in the referendum. “I didn’t vote because I didn’t think we should have been given the vote in the first place because as ordinary members of the public how are you qualified to talk about the break-up of the oldest continent in the f***ing world?
“I don’t think we should have left the Union because I feel right at the time of it happening, we turned our back on the French, who were going through some dark terror s***.”
Despite Gallagher’s personal stance, Leave.EU and Nigel Farage applauded his choice of words.
