1. OHIO KIDNAP: ARIEL CASTRO FACES COURT
Dressed in a blue prison jumpsuit, Ariel Castro appeared in court in Cleveland, Ohio today to face four counts of kidnapping and three of rape after three young women held captive in his home for a decade were rescued on Monday. The prosecutor said Castro "beat, sexually assaulted and bound them in a self-serving and gratifying way".
