1. MALAYSIA: MISSING PLANE ‘STILL A MYSTERY’
Authorities in Malaysia have denied that debris from a missing Malaysia Airlines plane has been found along the Vietnam coast, saying there is still no trace of MH370 - which was carrying 239 people. An oil slick in the South China Sea was not connected to the disappearance. China has urged Malaysia to "step up its efforts" to find the plane.

2. LABOUR EXTENDS JOB GUARANTEE PLAN
Labour has extended a plan to give young people out of work for a year a subsidised job, taking away their benefits if they demur. The Compulsory Jobs Guarantee was to have run for one year but will now run until 2020, if Labour win the 2015 election. It is to be funded, in part, by taxing bankers’ bonuses.

3. GALLAGHER: FIRST UK PARALYMPIC GOLD
Skier Kelly Gallagher has won the UK’s first ever Winter Paralympic gold, for the visually impaired super-G event. The 28-year-old, from County Down, and her guide, Charlotte Evans, clocked one minute 28.72 seconds. The UK’s Jade Etherington, who won silver in the downhill event, took bronze.
4. BAYERN MUNICH CHIEF ADMITS TAX FRAUD
Uli Hoeness, the president of Bayern Munich and a World Cup winner with West Germany, faces jail after he admitted a £15m tax fraud in court. The 62-year-old kept the funds in a secret Swiss bank account but came clear last year. He told the court he deeply regretted his "wrongdoing", but he could face a seven year jail term.
5. BROWN PROPOSES SCOTS DEVOLUTION PLAN
Former PM Gordon Brown made a rare return to high-profile politics today, outlining his plan for a new relationship between the UK government and Scotland. IN a speech in Glasgow he proposed six major constitutional changes which stop short of independence but increase the powers of the Scottish parliament.
6. PISTORIUS VOMITS AT 'GRAPHIC' EVIDENCE
The trial of Oscar Pistorius had to be adjourned briefly today as the Paralympian wept and vomited as he heard evidence of the injuries he caused to his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, when he shot her through a door at his home in Pretoria. Live broadcasts of the trial were halted because of the graphic nature of the evidence.

7. SOLDIER HELD OVER DEATH AT BARRACKS
A soldier has been arrested after the death of another serviceman at Clive Barracks in Tern Hill, near Market Drayton, over the weekend. The 32-year-old victim has been named as Corporal Geoffrey McNeill. His body was found on Saturday morning. A 23-year-old man, based at the barracks, is in police custody in Shrewsbury.
8. TORY MP 'ABUSED MEN IN PARLIAMENT'
MP Nigel Evans, a former deputy speaker of the House of Commons, sexually abused young men in Parliament and at the Conservative Party conference, a court has been told. The MP, who resigned the Tory whip last year, is on trial at Preston Crown Court facing nine sex charges against seven young men, dating between 2002 and 2013.
9. RICKY THE POODLE JUDGED BEST AT CRUFTS
A two-year-old standard poodle named Ricky has been judged best-in-show at this year’s Crufts, beating more than 21,000 other dogs at the event in Birmingham’s NEC. Ricky’s handler, Jason Lynn, said he would now be retiring the dog from competitions. The runner-up was a Samoyed called Dan the Man.

10. HOT TICKET: WALKING DEAD CONTINUES
A new episode of the hit zombie apocalypse video game The Walking Dead has been released in the UK. In Episode 2, A House Divided, players take on the role of Clementine as she searches for shelter and meets someone from her past. "Better than ever," says IGN.
