1. MALAYSIA: MISSING PLANE ‘STILL A MYSTERY’
Authorities in Malaysia have denied that debris from a missing Malaysia Airlines plane has been found along the Vietnam coast, saying there is still no trace of MH370 - which was carrying 239 people. An oil slick in the South China Sea was not connected to the disappearance. China has urged Malaysia to "step up its efforts" to find the plane.

2. LABOUR EXTENDS JOB GUARANTEE PLAN
Labour has extended a plan to give young people out of work for a year a subsidised job, taking away their benefits if they demur. The trial of Oscar Pistorius had to be adjourned briefly today as the Paralympian wept and vomited as he heard evidence of the injuries he caused to his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, when he shot her through a door at his home in Pretoria. Live broadcasts of the trial were halted because of the graphic nature of the evidence.
