1. MH370: NEW INFO SHIFTS SEARCH WEST

Malaysian officials say they are shifting their search for the Malaysia Airways jet which disappeared with 239 passengers on board almost a week ago west. One source said this was in response to “new information” that suggests it flew on after its last official contact. The US has sent surveillance teams to the Indian Ocean.
