1. MAX CLIFFORD JAILED FOR EIGHT YEARS

Celebrity publicist Max Clifford has been sentenced to eight years in jail after being convicted of a string of indecent assaults on young women and teenagers. Judge Anthony Leonard said some of the offences would be classified as rape if they had happened today. The 71-year-old must spend half his sentence behind bars.
