Limited-edition Range Rover SV Coupe to debut in Geneva
Only 999 examples are being produced
Land Rover has revealed it is building a two-door version of its Range Rover SUV that will be limited to just 999 examples.
The Range Rover SV Coupe won’t be unveiled until the Geneva Motor Show, in March, but the British carmaker has released a teaser image of the coupe’s luxurious interior.
Unlike existing Range Rover models, which are offered with at least five seats, the SV Coupe will have a four-seat layout, says Autocar. The preview image suggests buyers can spec front and rear seats in different-coloured leather trims.

The SUV’s wood-finished transmission tunnel extends from the bottom of the centre console to the rear, covering the space where a middle seat would be, and houses a pair of storage compartments and leather armrest.
Land Rover has yet to reveal any exterior images, but according to Car magazine, insiders say the biggest difference between the SV Coupe and the regular Range Rover will be “visible from the side silhouette”.
The company is also remaining tight-lipped about prices. Given that the new vehicle’s production run is so limited, says the magazine, it may go on sale for close to £250,000.
More details are expected at the Geneva show, which runs from 8 to 18 March.
The original Range Rover launched in 1970 with two doors, says Auto Express, with the four-door version arriving in 1981.
