Jaguar XF Sportbrake releases teaser images ahead of June launch
Reports say the XF estate will boast an extra 50-litres of boot space and an optional glass roof
Jaguar has launched a set of teaser images for its XF Sportbrake estate, which is set to go on sale next month.
While the images show the car covered in camouflage, the XF Sportbrake appears to share its entire front-end and wheels with its saloon sibling. The saloon's wing vents, as well as the body line that runs along each side, also appear on the Sportbrake.
The estate will feature an optional panoramic glass roof, says AutoExpress, while the "swollen rear end" should boast "practicality over its saloon-bodied sibling".

Autocar says that the Sportbrake will be built upon the same aluminium architecture as the saloon and will have the same range of engines. This includes an entry-level 2.0-litre diesel, while 3.0-litre V6 and diesel variants will sit above that in the line-up.
Jaguar's recently-launched 2.0-litre petrol engine is also expected to appear on the Sportbrake, adds the magazine, as the unit has been spotted on development cars.
The extra bodywork at the rear end should open up a further 50 litres of luggage space, says CarBuyer, bringing the total boot capacity up to around 600 litres.
The Sportbrake should retain the saloon's InControl infotainment system, which will "dominate" the car's dashboard, the website adds. Sportbrake customers are likely to choose a model with an automatic gearbox, so the company's "rotary gear selector" will be present.
The XF Sportbrake will hit showrooms on 14 June. CarBuyer expects a £2,000-3,000 premium over the saloon's £32,500 starting price.
