"They have been randomly attacking people - attacking is anywhere from jumping onto them to scratching and biting aggressively,” said one resident. "We don't know why it's happening.” One traumatised victim said: “The squirrel didn’t care, it just wanted something - it wanted blood.”

Tuna goes for 20m yen at Tokyo auction
A bluefin tuna sold for 20.8 million yen (£150,000) in the first auction of the new year at Tokyo’s Toyosu fish market. Prices in tuna auctions fluctuate wildly in Japan, with a record 333.6 million yen (£2.4m) paid in 2019. The bluefin tuna is a species of tuna in the family Scombridae.
