Today's front pages are reeling from last night's exit polls, which anticipated a massive upset for Theresa May - and which this morning turned out to be correct.
"Cor Blimey!" writes the Daily Mirror, which reports on the results at 5am, saying the "arrogant PM's snap election gamble backfired disastrously".
"Backfired" seemed the mot du jour, with the i paper, the Daily Mail, the Financial Times and the Daily Telegraph focusing on how May's election gamble failed.
