Playing dubstep could protect against mosquitoes
And other stories from the stranger side of life

Dubstep music could help protect you from mosquitoes, according to researchers. Man walking lizard told to put it on a lead
A man who walks his 5ft-long lizard in a park has been told to put it on a lead. Gary Smith, from Derby, was initially banned from walking his lizard, called Thor, in the local park but has now been allowed to, provided he keeps it leashed. “He could do a lot of damage, his claws could slice your arm or head open,” concedes Smith. “But that would be very out of character.”
