The makers of a South African gin infused with elephant dung say the drink offers a variety of fruit and flowers eaten by the animals. The creators came up with the idea when they learned that elephants digest less than a third of the fruits and flora they eat. “As a consequence, in the elephant dung, you get the most amazing variety of these botanicals,” they said.
Teenager gives birth in a nightclub
The baby of a teenager born in a French nightclub has been given free entry for life. Speaking of the 5:30am birth, a staff member said: “It's one of the more bizarre closings we've had. My team worked together. We all cried.” The baby has been promised free entry to the club for life – once it is old enough to enter.

Flight delayed by pigeon
A flight taking off from Moscow was delayed after a pigeon got trapped in the cabin. It is thought the bird snuck on the plane as cleaning and mandatory maintenance took place between flights. The flight, bound for Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the central-eastern Kamchatka Krai region, was able to take off once the pigeon had been removed.
