Baby Jesus statue more at home in Springfield
A church has been criticised after a local artist made a replacement head for a vandalised marble statue of Jesus and Mary. Iceland is importing ice cubes
Consumers in Iceland have been surprised by the revelation that many of the ice cubes sold in local supermarkets are actually imported. According to local media, shipments are coming from Norway, the UK and the US and are being sold for up to 40 per cent less than the locally made cubes. Shoppers have been asked to consider the environmental impact of shipping tons of ice from overseas and to buy the Icelandic product instead.
