Mohamed Salah: Liverpool to Real Madrid/Barcelona/PSG
Europe’s biggest clubs are set to battle for the signature of Liverpool star striker Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian has scored 36 goals in his first season at Anfield and his form has sparked interest from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Reports say it will take a world-record bid of more than £200m to get Liverpool to sell their prize asset. Salah, 25, signed from Roma for £34.3m last summer and his exploits in front of goal are drawing comparisons with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. (The Sun)

Liverpool will resist offers for Salah
Despite interest from the European big guns, Liverpool will not sell Mohamed Salah “under any circumstances” this summer. The Egyptian remains “central to their pursuit of honours” and the Reds will stand firm and “rebuff any approaches”. (The Daily Telegraph)
Toby Alderweireld: Tottenham to Paris Saint-Germain
French giants PSG are the latest club to be linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian has yet to agree a new deal at Spurs and PSG are ready to rival Manchester United and Barcelona for his signature. (The Daily Telegraph)
Aaron Ramsey: Arsenal to Manchester United/Chelsea
Jose Mourinho is plotting a summer transfer bid for Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey. The Manchester United manager is a “big fan” of the 27-year-old whose Arsenal contract expires at the end of next season. Ramsey is also a reported target for Chelsea. (Daily Star)
Hector Bellerin: Arsenal to Manchester United/Juventus
Another Arsenal star who United are also interested in is Hector Bellerin. The Old Trafford club have made “discreet enquiries” about the right-back’s availability, but Italian giants Juventus remain favourites to sign the Spaniard. (Daily Mirror)
Luke Shaw: Manchester United to Chelsea
Chelsea are interested in signing unhappy Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw. The defender has been “driven to despair” by Jose Mourinho’s treatment of him and Chelsea could offer him an Old Trafford exit. (Daily Mail)
Everton and Spurs also want Shaw
Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is also a target for Everton and Tottenham. The two clubs have “emerged as contenders” to sign the England left-back in the summer. (The Times)
Wilfried Zaha: Crystal Palace to Tottenham
Spurs are set to make a £40m bid for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha this summer. Tottenham have previously had two bids rejected for the 25-year-old and will go back with an improved offer. (Daily Mail)
Marcos Alonso: Chelsea to Barcelona
Lionel Messi has reportedly given Barcelona the “green light” to make a move for Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso. Barcelona were interested in signing Bayern Munich star David Alaba, but could now turn their attentions to Chelsea’s Spanish left wing-back. (Daily Express)
Bayern rule out move for Malcom
Bayern Munich are not in the running to sign Bordeaux forward Malcom. The Brazilian is a target for Tottenham and Arsenal, but according to Bayern head coach Jupp Heynckes he’s not on the German club’s radar. Heynckes said: “I have never seen him play. Therefore, I am not able to give an opinion on him. But I don’t think there is interest here. He always gets put into the shopping window but nobody really goes after him.” (London Evening Standard)

McClaren: Howe should be next Arsenal manager
Former England boss Steve McClaren believes Eddie Howe should replace Arsene Wenger as the next Arsenal manager. Speaking about the Bournemouth chief, McClaren said: “I’ve followed his career – we had a few good battles against Bournemouth when I was at Derby – and he is one of them who sets up his teams to play football. Building from the back, completing attacks, working hard to win the ball back, pressing opponents – he has that mentality. He could be an Arsenal manager. I can certainly see that.” (Daily Star)
