Chelsea transfer news: Alvaro Morata set for Juventus return
Eden Hazard laughs off rumours of a move to Manchester United
Is Alvaro Morata in the final fortnight of his Chelsea career? It seems to be the case with talkSPORT one of several media outlets reporting that the Spanish striker is poised to return to Juventus in the summer.
The 25-year-old hasn’t enjoyed the best of times at Stamford Bridge since arriving from Real Madrid last summer. Absent with injury from Sunday’s win against Liverpool, Morata is expected to return to the Blues line-up tomorrow when they take on Huddersfield.
But talkSPORT report that the Turin club are “edging closer to a reunion” with the Chelsea striker, who spent two years at Juve from 2014 to 2016. He then had a season at Madrid before signing for the Blues.

According to Italian broadcaster Rai Sport, Juventus’s hopes of landing the Spaniard “have improved with personal terms already being discussed between the player and the club”. That suggests that Morata’s wage demands, at one time described as “significant”, have been met and therefore he will be earning close to the £8.5m he pockets a season at the Bridge.
Meanwhile it’s not often you get a transfer scoop in the barbers but that’s where Eden Hazard laughed off suggestions he could be on the brink of joining Manchester United.
Rumours emerged last month suggesting the Chelsea magician was being courted by the Red Devils, but the Daily Star carries a clip of Hazard uploaded onto Instagram as he got a short, back and sides at his local hairdressers.
“Come to United?” exclaimed Hazard. “No chance.”
To underline his point the Belgian and his barber then launched into a rendition of the Chelsea anthem “Blue is the Colour”.
