Thibaut Courtois: Chelsea to Real Madrid
It’s reported in Spain that Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will run down his contract at Stamford Bridge and join Real Madrid on a free transfer next year.
The Belgian stopper’s Chelsea contract expires in the summer of 2019 when he will become a free agent. It’s believed the 25-year-old has “no intention of extending his stay with the west London club”.

Justin Kluivert: Ajax to Manchester United
Ajax winger Justin Kluivert is once again a target for Manchester United and manager Jose Mourinho. The 18-year-old, son of former Holland striker Patrick, is reportedly ready to reject a new deal at Ajax. Former United keeper Edwin van der Sar, who is Ajax’s CEO, is “blocking” Kluivert’s potential move to Old Trafford. (Daily Mirror)
Christian Pulisic: Borussia Dortmund to Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to raid his former club Borussia Dortmund for winger Christian Pulisic. However, Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has revealed he knows “nothing” about a potential Liverpool bid for Pulisic. The 19-year-old USA international has also been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich. (Daily Mirror)
Sokratis Papastathopoulos: Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal
Dortmund could also be set to lose defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who is a target for Arsenal. The Gunners want to revamp their defence this summer and see Greek star Sokratis as an ideal addition. (Independent)
Ryan Bertrand: Southampton to Tottenham
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is lining up a £30m bid for Southampton and England left-back Ryan Bertrand. The Saints defender, who is 28, could replace Danny Rose, who is wanted by Manchester United. (Daily Star)
Alfie Mawson: Swansea City to Tottenham
Another defender on Tottenham’s shopping list is Swansea’s Alfie Mawson. The centre-back, who is 24, is valued at around £40m by the Welsh club. (The Sun)
Caglar Soyuncu: Freiburg to Arsenal
The Gunners have reportedly beaten Bayern Munich to the signature of Freiburg centre-back Caglar Soyuncu. That’s according to Altinordu president Seyit Mehmet Ozkan. The 21-year-old defender came through the ranks at the Turkish club. (London Evening Standard)
Lambert rejects Butland Wolves rumours
Stoke City boss Paul Lambert has laughed off reports that goalkeeper Jack Butland will sign for Wolves in a £35m deal. Lambert, who previously managed Wolves, said: “£35m... is that for one glove?” (Express and Star)
Palace to hold talks with Cabaye and Ward
Crystal Palace will next week have a formal meeting with Yohan Cabaye and Joel Ward, who are out of contract this summer. Palace want to clarify the pair’s future, but it’s expected they will leave the club on free transfers. (The Guardian)
