Sevilla in late swoop for Anthony Martial
Rumours about the future of Man United winger Anthony Martial continue to swirl, with reports in Spain claiming that the French star could move to Sevilla before the European transfer window closes at the end of the month.
According to The Sun the La Liga side want to “bring in a big name” this summer and are focusing their efforts on Martial and Paris Saint-Germain forward Julian Draxler.

Despite reports earlier in the week that Martial wanted to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford, Sevilla believe they can tempt the 22-year-old.
“Martial looked set to depart Old Trafford over the summer but the club refused to sell him to a Premier League rival,” says the Sun, which adds that the starlet has a “fractious” relationship with under-pressure manager Jose Mourinho.
Guardiola blocks Delph exit
Man City boss Pep Guardiola has vetoed a loan move for England World Cup star Fabian Delph, who is wanted by Besiktas in Turkey.
“Besiktas are busy whipping their squad into shape before the closure of the European transfer window on August 31,” says the Daily Star.
They have already signed Liverpool keeper Loris Karius and are hoping to lure another Premier League star in the form of Delph.
But Guardiola has other ideas, says the Star.
“Delph excelled for Man City last season after playing regularly in an unfamiliar left-back role following a nasty injury to Benjamin Mendy… And City have no intention of letting him go and spend the season away in Instanbul.”
City want 'hard cash' for Zinchenko
However, City are prepared to let Oleksandr Zinchenko leave the club before the transfer window shuts.
Talks with Spanish side Real Betis are underway, says the Manchester Evening News, but City are not interested in a loan deal, unless there is an obligation to buy.
The Premier League champions want “hard cash” for the Ukraine international who made only 14 appearances last season.
A fee of around £10.8m has been suggested, but City are believed to want more than that.
Origi in 'limbo' as Dormund move collapses
Liverpool striker Divock Origi is in “limbo” after the Reds pulled the plug on talks over a move to Borussia Dortmund.
Belgium international Origi was keen to move to Germany but Dortmund wanted a season-long loan, reports the Daily Mirror, but that did not suit Liverpool.
The Reds “were only seeking a permanent end to his stay at Anfield, but Dortmund had little interest in meeting the Reds' £27m asking price”.
Spurs turned down Modric move
Spurs turned down the chance to sign former player and Croatia World Cup star Luka Modric in the summer. Modric was linked with a moved to Inter Milan but it has also been claimed he was offered to Spurs. Real Madrid have denied they wanted to sell the midfielder. (Teamtalk)
Chelsea would not let Abraham join Spurs
Spurs also missed out on the chance to sign Chelsea and England striker Tammy Abraham on deadline day. The Lilywhites offered £25m for the striker but the Blues were not prepared to sanction the 20-year-old’s sale to their London rivals. (Goal.com)
West Ham miss out on Ben Arfa
Former Premier League star Hatem ben Arfa will not join West Ham and is instead set to sign for Rennes. The French forward’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain expired at the end of last season and he was courted by the Hammers, but Ben Arfa, who spent five seasons with Newcastle United, has opted to remain in France.
