Ozil heading for the door?
Mesut Ozil’s days at Arsenal are reported to be numbered, following his underwhelming performances at the Emirates this season under new Gunners boss Unai Emery.
The Daily Mail claims that Turkish giants Fenerbahce are “primed to make a shock move for the midfielder”.

The reports come weeks after the 29-year-old was said to have been involved in a heated exchange with Emergy on the training pitch.
Emery is believed to have told the German that he needs to starts earning his £350,000-a-week salary with more energetic, consistent and committed performances.
That has yet to happen so far this season, with the Mail saying that Ozil has “failed to demonstrate the work ethic” that the Gunners head coach demands of his players.
£42m price tag
Arsenal are open to offers for Ozil, and Fenerbahce are “looking to capitalise on the uncertainty surrounding his future”, says the newspaper, citing Turkish media sources.
But would they be able to afford the playmaker? Arsenal is said to have slapped a £42m price tag on the Ozil, although that could drop if his performances don’t pick up in the autumn.
TurkishFootball.com claim that Fenerbahce president Ali Koc is driving the audacious bid to buy Ozil.
The player supported Fenerbahce in his youth, and the club hopes he may be willing to take a drop in wages in order to make the move happen.
