Real Madrid are after a Manchester City attacking midfielder called Silva… not David, but his namesake Bernardo.
Spanish giants Real are planning a “summer transfer raid on the Premier League”, says the Daily Mirror, and 24-year-old Silva is high on their shopping list.

Carroll heading to Spurs?
West Ham striker Andy Carroll is a surprise £2m transfer target for Tottenham. With Harry Kane injured and Heung-Min Son on Asia Cup duty with South Korea, Spurs could be in the market for attacking reinforcements. (The Sun)

According to reports Tottenham are also interested in Real Betis striker Antonio “Tonny” Sanabria, 22. (The Guardian)
James to stay at Bayern
Arsenal and Napoli are reportedly keen on signing James Rodriguez but the Colombian star looks likely to stay at Bayern Munich until the end of the season. The 27-year-old is 18 months into a two-year loan deal at Bayern from Real Madrid. (ESPN)
Darmian closes in on Juve loan
Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian looks set for a return to Italian football. The 29-year-old is close to agreeing a loan move to Juventus until the end of the season. Juve would then have the option to sign him permanently in the summer. (The Guardian)
Rivals target Felix
Benfica “starlet” Joao Felix is a target for Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool. The 19-year-old has scored four goals in Portugal’s Primeira Liga this season. (Daily Star)
‘New Pogba’
Another youngster who is wanted by Premier League sides is Barcelona’s Ilaix Moriba. The 16-year-old midfielder - who has been called the “new Paul Pogba” - is linked with Chelsea and Manchester City. (Sport)
Militao set for La Liga
Porto defender Eder Militao has been linked with a January switch to Man Utd but the player’s agent has revealed that a move to Real Madrid this summer looks likely. Militao’s agent Giuliano Bertolucci said: “There is no possibility of the player leaving his current club in the winter market. We’re not ruling out his signing for Real Madrid in the summer.” (Manchester Evening News)
Semenyo impresses
Manchester United and Chelsea are both keen on Antoine Semenyo. The Bristol City forward, 19, is on loan at Newport County and has impressed in League Two this season. (Manchester Evening News)
