Heskey: Liverpool risk losing Salah
Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey believes the Premier League leaders could lose their star striker Mohamed Salah if they fail to win the title this season.
Salah, who’s Egyptian, is the EPL’s top scorer this season with 16 goals. Last season he netted 32 goals in 36 league appearances for the Reds.

When asked if the Anfield side could see the 2017-18 Premier League golden boot winner depart, Heskey told the Daily Express: “There’s always that risk [of players wanting to leave].”
Reds back in for Insigne?
Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne is again linked with a move to Liverpool. Back in October The Sun reported that the Italian international had “caught the attention” of the Reds. Insigne scored against Liverpool in the Champions League group stage and according to La Repubblica the Premier League club have made an offer of around €70m (£61.2m) for the 27-year-old.
Rashford in talks with United
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is in line to be rewarded for his fine run of form. The England international, who has scored six goals in his past ten matches, is in talks with Old Trafford chiefs over a new long-term contract that could double his wages to £150,000 a week. The 21-year-old had been linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid. (The Daily Telegraph)
Pogba would have left Old Trafford
Paul Pogba’s brother Mathias has revealed that the French World Cup winner was ready to quit Man Utd because of his fall-out with former manager Jose Mourinho. Since caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Mourinho, Pogba has scored six goals in eight Premier League matches. (Daily Mirror)
Bayern will return for Hudson-Odoi
German giants Bayern Munich will make a fresh bid to sign Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi in the summer. The 18-year-old winger was linked with Bayern throughout the January transfer window. (Daily Mail)
Saints interested Mæhle
Genk right-back Joakim Mæhle has revealed he was interested in moving to Southampton during last month’s transfer window. The Saints were linked with a move for the 21-year-old but Genk refused to sell. Mæhle said: “I’m not going to say that I wasn’t interested. This was a nice proposal from a big club from a top competition. But at the same time, I have full understanding of Genk’s point of view.” (Southern Daily Echo)
Herrera only focused on football
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera says his focal point is the next match against Fulham rather than his contract situation. The Spaniard’s current deal expires at the end of the season and he said: “I focus on Fulham. If I deserve it [the contract], I will get it.” (Sky Sports)
Sarabia in demand
Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia, 26, is a summer target for Chelsea and French champions Paris Saint-Germain. (Estadio Deportivo)
Rakitic to stay at Barca
Barcelona and Croatia star Ivan Rakitic has also been linked with Chelsea and PSG but the player’s agent says the 31-year-old is expected to stay at the Camp Nou. Arturo Canales said: “It is an impossible scenario to see Ivan leaving Spain in the summer.” (Sky Sports)
James on the radar
Reece James’s performances on loan at Wigan Athletic are impressing a number of Premier League clubs. The Chelsea full-back, who is 19, is being linked with Brighton and Crystal Palace. (The Guardian)
Schürrle reveals loan terms
If Fulham are relegated from the Premier League this season the loan deal for Andre Schurrle will be immediately cancelled. The German forward is on a two-year loan at Fulham from Borussia Dortmund. (Kicker)
