Fox News host on CIA torture report: 'America is awesome'

Fox News' Andrea Tantaros is angry that Senate Democrats released a sickening report on the CIA's torture program in what she felt was a partisan attempt to besmirch America. Since President Obama shut down the torture program for good in 2009, releasing the report now, she said, needlessly delved back into America's dark past and undercut the indubitable truth that "America is awesome."
"The United States of America is awesome," she said Tuesday on Outnumbered. "We are awesome. But we've had this discussion, we've closed the book on it, and we've stopped doing it. And the reason they want to have this discussion is not to show how awesome we are. This administration wants to have this discussion to show us how we're not awesome." --Jon Terbush
