At the end of a 21-day quarantine of 108 people linked to Mali's first Ebola case, the country has announced two Ebola deaths unrelated to the first case.
In the country's first Ebola case, a two-year-old girl died from Ebola in October. Wednesday's announcement includes the death of a Malian nurse. Mahamadou Camara, Mali's information minister, also announced that a new group of people is being observed for potential infection.
The nurse who died from Ebola had treated a man from Guinea at the Pasteur Clinic in Bamako. Nearly 5,000 people have died from the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
