Man's best narc: A dog named Bo who was just following directions led police officers to his owner, who was promptly arrested for failure to obey police, possession of drug paraphernalia, and manufacturing a controlled substance.
Prattville Police spokeswoman Paula Barlow told The Associated Press that when two drug officers arrived Wednesday with a search warrant, Edwin Henderson took off from his Central Alabama home. When one told Bo to "go get him," he did, alerting officers to Henderson's whereabouts when he began wagging his tail in a patch of tall grass.
There's no word on who is taking care of Bo, but he could have a future as a member of the K9 unit.
