A diver in Australia caught two sharks fighting on camera, and the video has gone viral.

The diver, Adam Malski, recorded the sharks in waters roughly 50 miles off the Neptune Islands in south Australia. The video proves why the great white shark has a reputation as the ocean's most vicious predator.

In the footage, a 15-foot great white shark, known to locals as "Gilbert," attacks a smaller rival, also a great white. Gilbert survived the fight, but the smaller shark hasn't been seen since the incident, according to The Guardian.

"The day where the shark attacked the other was surreal," Malski told The Telegraph. "I asked the dive master and skipper of the boat what would happen if a smaller shark got in the way of a larger shark... literally six seconds later, that amazing scene was witnessed by me [sic], the skipper, and the dive master."
