Obama told a group of four-year-olds at a Head Start classroom at the University of Kansas that Dr, Seuss' Sneetches and Other Stories is one of his favorite books. "Most of the things I deal with as president would be solved if everybody read about the Sneetches," he added.

The "sneetches" in the Seuss story "are characters with stars on their bellies who discriminate against others who lack stars," according to the Washington Times.
