Diehard Royals fan Paul Rudd got in on the team's boozy World Series celebration
The best part of the World Series arguably comes after the final game's last out, and the Kansas City Royals didn't disappoint Sunday night — er, early Monday morning. After finishing off the New York Mets with a five-run 12th inning, the champs took to the visiting CitiField clubhouse and engaged in a time-honored Major League tradition: soaking every last bit of the walls, the floor, and themselves in champagne and beer.
Diehard fans have been waiting since 1985 for this moment, and at least one of them was lucky (read: famous) enough to actually get in on the boozy party: Paul Rudd. The actor has attended every World Series game his team has played in and is no stranger to interacting with the guys. Still, he told The Star-Ledger he was so stunned to be in the dugout, he thought he'd faint.
"I can't even believe that I'm standing here right now," Rudd said. "I don't know how I snuck in."

Once he was there, of course, he wasn't going to stay dry. Third baseman Mike Moustakas took some initiative:
We can only hope once the clubhouse scene died down, Rudd invited everyone over to his mom's house for a kegger.
