As Emma Watson became the go-to image of Hermione Granger over eight Harry Potter films, fans responded by racebending the brainy teenager. Now, in the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which will follow Hermione and her pals as adults, theatergoers will get to see a black woman take on the role.
