OkCupid now lets polyamorous couples search for matches together

OkCupid gave polyamorous couples the option to link their profiles and search for new partners together, The Atlantic reports. The dating website gave all users this feature Friday after beta-testing it in December.
"Finding your partner is very important," said Jimena Almendares, the site's chief product officer. "You should have the option to express specifically and exactly who you are and what you need."
Since 2014, users have been able to list themselves as being "in an open relationship." The Atlantic suggests the new linking feature may be the first of its kind for a mainstream online dating platform. Match Group, OkCupid's parent company, is not yet rolling out profile-linking to Match.com or Tinder.
